This committee is to influence legislators and policy makers on legislation and regulation that affects our industry. Our goals for 2005 are the following:
Develop a current inventory of legislation and regulation for Private Duty Home Care for 50 states.
Compile a current inventory of legislative and regulatory initiatives (including key legislators and committees) for 50 states and Congress.
Survey membership on the issues they are dealing with concerning regulation.
Identify top ten (approx.) legislation/regulation issue areas for action.
Develop position statements and legislative action plan for each issue.
