Membership Criteria Membership to NPDA is limited to private duty home care agencies, both medical and non-medical, who employ (issue W-2's) to 90% of their workforce, create a plan of care/service plan/care plan for clients; maintain 24/7 on call coverage; perform regular supervisory visits; maintain Workers' Compensation coverage; and carry liability insurance. You must also not own or operate another business (either in whole or in part) that operates with an independent contractor or nurse registry business model. For further details regarding our membership criteria please "click here" Non home care providers in allied health fields are permitted to join as an associate member. Membership Dues Full Voting Membership: $425.00 - Voting members shall have voting rights and can hold office or serve as an Officer or Director of the Association. They may also chair any standing committees. Additional Location Membership: $125.00 - Additional location membership is offered only to current "Full Voting" members who wish to add another location to receive NPDA membership benefits. Each additional location MUST be under management/ownership control of a current voting member. If you are a franchise owner, you will need to be registered as your own Full voting membership, and do not fall under the umbrella of Corporate Membership. Associate Membership: $650.00 - A business that supplies goods and/or services to private duty home care agencies or their patients, but does NOT supply in-home personnel. Associate Members shall not have voting rights but can hold office or serve as an Officer or Director of the Association. They may also chair any standing committee of the Association. All membership applications are subject to review by the NPDA membership committee. Applications are processed weekly, and you should receive a membership packet and be listed on our website within 10-14 business days upon receipt of payment.
