NPDA Launches Advocacy Network

Responding to the need for the National Private Duty Association to increased its political involvement at both the state and federal levels, the association recently launched the NPDA Advocacy Network. The network will enable NPDA to launch a coordinated grassroots campaign to address targeted legislation of importance, creating opportunities for NPDA members to communicate most effectively with targeted legislators on priority issues.

In addition, the program will enable NPDA and its individual members to highlight the industry’s contributions while establishing the Association as a trusted source of information on home health care issues.

The NPDA has retained the services of Resolute Consulting in helping to build and promote the network. With office in both Chicago and Washington, D.C., Resolute Consulting is an award-winning public affairs and communications firm providing strategic counsel and effective issue campaigns based on real-world experience.

Additionally, NPDA has retained the services DBK Consulting, a Washington, D.C. firm providing policy making, governmental affairs and lobbying services to its clients. Danea Kehoe is working closely with NPDA and has been representing her clients since 1982. With a law degree from Georgetown University Law School, Danea’s expertise runs the gamut from health issues, disability and aging issues, employer-provided benefits, insurance, pensions, federal tax issues, and small business issues.
